The wellness center is a multidisciplinary clinic that offers a variety of healthcare services for your entire family. We offer  Naturopathic Medicine, nutritional counseling, midwifery services, well woman care, massage therapy and health related community classes.

Melissa is passionate about massage and the important role it plays in the health and well-being of her clients. Melissa sees people of all ages and from all backgrounds. She is one of the few massage therapists in  Portland who has specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum massage.

Dr. James Hermes is the Medical Director and primary care physician at Beaverton Natural Medicine and Wellness Center. He is  an Oregon licensed Naturopathic Doctor. Dr. Hermes specializes in family medicine and he sees people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Dr. Hermes believes in treating the whole person and not just the symptoms or the disease. He uses a variety of techniques to help his patients to achieve optimal health.

In addition to quality midwifery care, we offer clients  a sensitive approach to well woman annual exams, gynecological care, family planning and contraceptive counseling. Working with the wide variety of practitioners in Beaverton Natural Medicine and Wellness Center makes collaborating care convenient for our community of clients. Instead of being referred out, our clients can see any one of the practitioners in our office for any of the following services:

¨ Naturopathic medicine including primary care for the whole family as well as pediatrics.

¨ Massage Therapy for a variety of ailments and a specialty in infant, pregnancy and postpartum massage.

¨ Individualized nutritional counseling, specializing in diets for people with chronic illness and other special needs.
